MISTRANSLATIONS: Where Were You At Night *
“The night was an exceptional possibility
In the middle of a hot summer night
A rooster shouts at the wrong time
And only once to announce the beginning of the walk up the mountain
Little by little, they could see the she/he
And she/he appeared to them with a quality that emanated from him/her
Was she/he a lighthouse?”
A Performance that visually and linguistically (mis-)translates Clarice Lispector’s story of the same title.
